School of Electronic and Information Engineering Holds 2026 Undergraduate Further Study and Employment Mobilization Conference

On the afternoon of July 3, 2025, the School of Electronic and Information Engineering held the 2026 Undergraduate Further Study and Employment Mobilization Conference in the Central Lecture Hall of Building 9. Han Botao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the school, employment instructor Li Yingxin, junior student counselor Xie Xinlan, and more than 300 undergraduate graduates participated in the conference.

At the meeting, Han Botao comprehensively sorted out the overall situation of further study and employment of the school's graduates over the years, and conducted an in-depth interpretation of the further study and employment situation faced by the 2026 graduates. By analyzing detailed data of previous graduates and combining with the dynamic changes of the current job market, he made a systematic analysis of the development prospects of the 2026 graduates. Subsequently, aiming at the new characteristics of the employment environment in the new era, he deeply explained the core points of further study and employment work for this batch of graduates, guided students to rationally recognize the situation, clarify their development positioning, carried out classified guidance according to different career planning directions, and encouraged everyone to actively plan and pursue their ideals with a positive attitude.


Later, Li Yingxin gave a lecture focusing on three dimensions: expanding job search channels, improving job search skills, and formulating career plans. She emphasized that graduates should fully master diversified job search paths, and especially pay close attention to official platforms such as the Beijing Jiaotong University Employment Information Network to obtain accurate information. In terms of resume production, she suggested highlighting the pertinence and organization of the content, and accurately showing personal advantages and strengths whether it is postgraduate re-examination materials or job resumes. In addition, she also detailed the employment policy rules and procedure handling process, and gave specific suggestions on time planning and material preparation for graduates with different development directions, calling on students to layout in advance, integrate resources, and accumulate experience and enhance competitiveness in practice.

The School of Electronic and Information Engineering will continue to provide personalized services and guidance for graduates, adhere to the "one student, one policy" principle, fully provide resume diagnosis, interview guidance and other services, and improve the quality of further study and employment of the 2026 graduates.
