The School of Electronic Information Engineering held the opening debate of the 2023 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program for college students

   On the afternoon of June 8, 2023, the College of Telecommunications held the opening debate of the 2023 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program for college students. This debate was conducted through the Tencent conference online, a total of 184 groups of projects, more than 520 students participated, and invited 15 experienced and professional teachers to guide innovation and entrepreneurship projects in the school as judges.
   Among the 184 groups of works of the innovation and Entrepreneurship training program for college students established in 2023, there are 87 groups of physical works, 59 groups of platform development and software, and 38 groups of published research papers. The defense of this proposal is divided into 5 defense groups. In the defense meeting, each project will be reported through a 3-minute PPT presentation, and the judges will ask questions and score on the defense performance of each project, the significance of the topic selection, the main work and innovation, the expected results and the existing research basis, and give the proposal guidance.
   In this debate, many projects with innovative potential emerged, from small inventions to solve everyday problems, to bold innovative attempts to explore the professional field of study, reflecting the students' knowledge integration and practical ability to innovate. In the future, the College will continue to strengthen the cultivation of innovation and entrepreneurship training programs for college students, providing a broad platform for students to realize innovative ideas, exchange practical experience, and display excellent results.
