The Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center of the School of Telecommunications organizes the 2020 Open Project Exchange Conference of the National Rail Transit Signal and Control Professional Virtual Teaching and Research Office

       On the morning of July 16, 2021, the National Rail Transit Communication and Control Virtual Simulation Experimental Teaching Center of the School of Telecommunications organized the 2020 open project application and construction school leader, and held the 2020 open project exchange of the National Rail Transit Signal and Control Virtual Teaching and Research Office meeting. The content of the conference included the phased research results of the project, the exchange of experience in the project development, and the discussion of the future construction direction of the virtual teaching and research section.

The conference was hosted by Professor Dai Shenghua. Participants included Mr. Li Zhengjiao and Mr. Zhou Xing from the center; as well as Tongji University, North University of China, Lanzhou Jiaotong University, Henan University of Technology, Wuxi College (formerly Binjiang College of Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology), Dalian Jiaotong University, Shanghai University of Applied Sciences, Shijiazhuang Railway University, 8 colleges and universities subject in charge.

    Professor Dai Shenghua first briefly introduced the construction of the virtual teaching and research section of the national rail transit signal and control major and the background of open topics, hoping to establish a national rail transit signal professional home through the virtual teaching and research section project; "Notice on the Pilot Construction of Teaching and Research Section", the notice requires Xi Jinping’s new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics as the guidance, thoroughly implement the spirit of the National Education Conference and "China Education Modernization 2035", with the basic task of establishing morality and relying on the virtual teaching and research section to carry out extensively Education and teaching research and exchange activities, to comprehensively improve teachers' ability to teach and educate, focus on strengthening teachers' ability to deeply integrate modern information technology with education and teaching, and lay a solid foundation for improving the quality of talent training. Strengthen cross-professional, cross-school, cross-regional teaching and research exchanges, and promote the collaborative creation of high-quality teaching resource libraries, excellent teaching case libraries, and high-quality teacher training resource libraries, etc., to promote interconnection, mutual construction and sharing.

   The persons in charge of the construction of various open projects conducted a report on the results of their respective projects and discussions on the construction of virtual teaching and research offices. Professor Zhang Hongwei, director of the Department of Traffic Information Engineering and Control of Henan Polytechnic University, expressed that he hopes to sign a cooperation agreement to establish a virtual simulation experiment teaching resource sharing mechanism, unified planning and integration of resources, and promote the development of virtual teaching and research offices.

   Through this exchange meeting, colleges and universities deepened their understanding of virtual teaching and research offices, reported and exchanged the results of development projects, discussed in-depth the future development of virtual teaching and research offices, and specifically planned to improve the country through the resources of virtual teaching and research offices in the national rail transit signal and control specialty. The professional construction level of rail transit signal and control is a vision to train more professionals for the rail transit industry.
