The college of Electronic Information Engineering held the second meeting of the pre-competition guidance meeting of the College of Telecommunication for the Youth Education Competition in Automation

On 28 June 2021 at 10:30am, the second pre-competition guidance meeting of the Young Teachers' Lecture Competition for Automation Classes was held in Room 113 South of the Ninth Teaching Building. The meeting was hosted by Li Runmei, Deputy Director of the Department of Automation, with the presence of Tao Dan, Associate Dean for Undergraduate Teaching, and Dai Shenghua and Jiang Daming, the experts in automation courses.

Mr. Liu Feng, the representative of the competition, first reported the preparation work and the improved courseware. The experts at the meeting gave full recognition to the new version of courseware. At the same time, they gave suggestions for modifying the course capacity, formula presentation, and the design of the first and last pages.

Ms. Zhang Yanxin, the representative of the competition, also reported her own course design scheme. The experts put forward some suggestions to modify the courseware template, course capacity, video presentation and other issues.

Through the discussion at the meeting, the experts suggested that the two participating teachers should continue to revise and improve the PPT for the competition, designing ideological and political content of the course and paying attention to the recording of the video for the competition.

Through this guidance session, the participating teachers once again improved their understanding and awareness of curriculum design and course teaching, discovered the content that needed improvement in the previous teaching sessions, and deeply felt the importance of the college leaders and experts to this Youth Teaching Competition and their earnest expectation for young teachers, extending that they would make every effort to improve their courseware and lesson plan design in order to get good grades in the competition.
