The School of Telecommunications Holds the National First-Class Professional Construction Kick-off Meeting
At 9 am on Friday, July 16, 2021, in order to better implement the national first-class professional construction work, the School of Telecommunications held a national first-class professional construction kick-off meeting in D805 of the Mechanical Engineering Building. Professor Ai Bo, Deputy Secretary, Deputy Dean and Head of the Department of Communications, Professor Tao Dan, Deputy Dean of Teaching, Liu Liu, Gao Shuai, Lu Yanfei, Deputy Directors of the Department of Communications, and Su Wei, Former Deputy Director of the Department of Communications, attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Mr. Su Wei introduced the current status of the construction of first-class majors in communication engineering, and sorted out the existing achievements and deficiencies in various indicators. Professor Ai Bo focused on clarifying the importance and necessity of the construction of a first-class major in communications engineering, and pointed out that the issues should be clarified one by one and implemented in detail. In response to the existing problems, the teachers discussed, determined the key direction of curriculum construction, and clarified the work led by the deputy directors of each department, which established the foundation for the next step of work promotion. At the same time, discussions and planning were carried out on the cultivation of leading teaching talents, high-level subject competitions, and collaborative education project declarations.
