The 2018-level communication engineering H professional professional internship ended successfully


   On July 16, 2021, 54 students majoring in communication engineering at the level of 2018 on the Weihai campus successfully completed their professional internships in the form of online + offline practice. This internship is organized by the Weihai Campus Academic Affairs Management Office and the Communication Engineering Laboratory of the National Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Electronic Information and Computer, and the joint co-founder Zhongxing Xieli Technology Co., Ltd. is responsible for the implementation.

The online part of this internship lasted for one week. According to the characteristics of the professional curriculum of the students on the Weihai campus, ZTE worked together to formulate an online internship outline and plan, and selected the richest teaching and on-site projects from bases in Beijing, Xi'an, and Shenzhen. Experienced lecturers guide students to complete 5G bearer data exchange equipment commissioning, LTE&5G wireless equipment commissioning and other project process explanations and project process simulation practices on the cloud practice platform of ZTE. At the same time, it incorporates the development of the communications industry, corporate culture construction, and project management.

The offline practice of this internship lasted one week and was implemented at the Beijing Zhongxing Cooperation Yanjiao Engineering Practice Base located in the Zhongxing North Industrial Park. The base has 8 multimedia laboratories for 5G-wireless, 5G-OTN, 5G-PON, 5G-PTN, artificial intelligence, cloud computing & big data, intelligent hardware, Internet of Things, and a centralized computer room. The offline internship completed LTE&5G wireless optimization project practice, complex project implementation, acceptance and defense.

In order to let the students of Weihai campus fully understand the development of Beijing Jiaotong University's communication engineering major and their contribution to the construction of high-speed railways, this internship also specially arranged to visit the key laboratory of broadband mobile information communication railway industry and the national teaching demonstration center communication engineering major Links to the laboratory. With a strong interest in railways, the students earnestly and deeply understood the development history of the laboratory, scientific research direction, engineering application, teaching team, etc., fully understood the future development trend of communication technology in the rail transit industry, and inspired the students to independently research and develop technology. The self-confidence and enthusiasm to devote to the construction of a powerful transportation country.

This internship ended successfully with the joint efforts of the two campuses in Weihai and Beijing, lectures by enterprises and the joint efforts of all intern students, and achieved the expected results.
