Rules for the Implementation of Undergraduate Transfer of Major in the School of Electronic Information Engineering
   In order to implement the reform of large class enrollment and cultivation mode, according to the "Management Measures of Undergraduate Transfer and Large Class Professional Streaming of Beijing Jiaotong University" and "Notice on the Work of Undergraduate Transfer and Large Class Professional Streaming of Class 2022", following the principle of fairness, justice and openness, the implementation rules of undergraduate transfer of majors in College of Electronic Information Engineering are formulated.
I. Qualifications for the interview
1. Students who have taken Calculus (B) and Geometry and Algebra (B) and have the priority qualification for transferring majors will not attend the interview and will be admitted directly. When the number of students who meet the requirements exceeds the number of acceptance slots for transfer majors, they will be ranked according to the weighted average of their first semester grades, and the college will determine their acceptance capacity.
2. Students with non-transfer priority status will take the mathematics exam organized by the university and those whose scores reach the passing line may participate in the interview organized by our college.
3. Students who have not taken Calculus (B) and Geometry and Algebra (B) are required to take the mathematics examination organized by the university, and those whose scores reach the passing line can attend the interview organized by our college.
II. Content of the interview assessment
Understanding of electronic information-related majors, professional interest and potential for professional development, teamwork ability, professional expression and innovation, and the ability to deal with problem solving, etc.
III.Admission rules
   The admission will be made by considering the weighted average grade of the first semester, the score of the math test for transferring majors and the interview score. Students who have not taken Calculus (B) and Geometry and Algebra (B) will be admitted down to the next year.
